Join us for this hands-on cooking experience to master the Indian curry favorite, Tikka Masala. This is a vegetarian friendly version of the famous, Chicken Tikka Masala. We'll be using and frying delicious paneer cheese as a replacement.
Indian cooking is generally not attempted by many due to its complexity and use of many spices. However join us on this journey as we demystify this taboo and teach you just how simple Indian cooking really is!
In this hands-on class, you will learn the basics to sourcing and balancing herbs and spices and the art of refining the perfect Indian curry base. Chef Raina & Gautam will take you through a detailed demonstration, before you will be guided step-by-step in replicating how to use proper knife skills, pan fry the paneer, temper spices & onions, and cook a traditional masala sauce.
Tikka Masala is celebrated for its fine balance of garlic, ginger, turmeric, garam masala, coriander, and cumin. You will then compliment your Indian curry with aromatic rice. After taking this class you will not only have dispelled the misconceptions of cooking Indian cuisine, but will also have a flavorful, hearty and sumptuous curry recipe in your repertoire that you can recreate at home!
